I'm glad the inspection proved what many thought all along. We all work hard and some times amass some "Play Money", really hurts when someone gets cheated out of it. Keep looking the world is filled with better cars. Bob

Ouch ! I’m a retired plumber/pipe fitter. Always believed in quality work. I guess it is why my project is taking so long.

  4. I enjoyed speaking with you. Sorry the car wasn't as good as the pictures. Hope the HAMB has helped you. It's always nice to see someone learn a lesson without having to pay for it as well! Nick tapatalk_1553569627443.gif

I don’t know where you are looking but Minnesota has some of best home built cars around, most guys there are machinists millwrights, and production welders , small percentage of the cars are built by hacks

Yes, by all means go look at it before you buy. 5 years ago I bought a 56 Chevy Sedan off eBay based on the pictures. Just one state away and I did not go. New paint, interior, chrome, fresh engine. Long story short , it was a “PIG WITH LIPSTICK “ $22,500 for a rust bucket covered with bondo over 1”thick on quarter panels.

Back to the 50's car show is coming up in June. The cars come to you from Mn and states away.
There are literally thousands of cars to take a look at and can help zero in on your likes and dislikes.
Not everything is for sale - but many can be bought.
Just encouragement not to get in too big a hurry. Find the right one for you.
