I can't wait for Hershey either, but first I have to live through Spring Carlisle next month

 

The water company is out of the new building. Now the renovation starts for the new club HQ and library. Excitement is building.

 

I sure hope the "Museum" taught people a lesson. Bob

 

@ct1932ford do you have your Ferrari parts list ready? Gonna have to beat Wayne Carinni to em! Lol

 

My oldest grandson is almost 7 and wants to hook up that trailer to his dad's dump truck and travel the countryside looking for cars & parts. Next generation will be fine. Bob

 

Had to miss last year due to a leg injury that appeared at Carlisle. Determined to work out and be stronger for this year, now that I am 70.

 

He's going to be needing a car soon, better get started. Maybe a Ferrari?

 

I keep a wanted list on my garage wall just for Hershey. These pictures just fired me up thanks!

 

Whoa, lots to do before Hershey. And before Spring Carlisle there is the Charlotte Autofair- a great escape from our last stretch of cold weather. Here is my favorite Hershey picture from 2018. Nice guy from Ontario, Canada rolled up on his rickshaw and left loaded down with my junk!

Hey I have a question for those of you that go I’ve never been to Hershey although I go to spring Carlisle every year. What day or days are the best I’ve heard by the weekend the flea market is basically over. That’s part of the reason I’ve never been. Hobo Jim

 

Best days for flea market are Tues. to Fri. But Sat. is the VERY best, because that's the day of the show.

 

.........If you have only been to Carlisle and never to Hershey, you're in for a treat. You may never go back to Carlisle.

The show is great, but virtually all the vendors are gone by then. I like Wed or Thurs. Take a rain suit

Well, looks and smells like the old shit plant is dead in the water. New one is running, still working the bugs out. It's about time!!

 

So is that going to be converted to more parking and future swap meet field?

 

I don't know. I personally don't think it will be ripped out, just abandoned. At least I haven't heard any plans yet. But there is a rumor of the golf course being paved. Funny thing how the trees keep dying and being removed.
