lightning rods

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by tensecsprint, Nov 29, 2006.

  1. I have a Kilduff lightning rod shifter in the drag coupe. My trans is full manual race trans and this shifter works great. Well made and super tough. Brian Kilduff told me if I should break it shifting he would replace it. Three years and no issues. And its a blast to use on the track or street. WIN_20151115_134739.JPG

A buddy of mine had these in his Duster. The closest rod to the driver worked park thru 1st...the next 2nd...and the third, third. You also had to go back that same way. They were cool than. But in a street car they got to be a pain. Much like driving a manual valve body on the street. Don't know if the factory installed ones worked the same way or not. Gene.

And one that should have been deleted at that time as those shifters are from the 80's.
