I can’t say it was a total loss, I did end up with a great daughter and a son. I love them both and I’m proud of the people they have become.
But I sure went through a lot of crap getting there.
Marriage can be great, divorce is too sometimes:D
It all works out like it’s supposed to because I have an awesome wife now.

I don't know anything about shipping from Canada into the US.
There are no duties charged on parts shipped from the US to Canada. What drives up the overall cost is the handling and brokerage charges on top of the shipping charge. UPS, FedEx, Canada Post, they're all bandits.

I'm fortunate to live less than two hours from the border, I maintain a mailing address in Niagara Falls, New York. Everything I buy in the US goes to that address. I always make sure I have all my invoices in order before hitting the border, I pay 13% HST on the purchase price, not including shipping. There's no avoiding the sales tax.

This where my mailbox is- https://www.cbiusa.com/ They will receive anything from an envelope to a car, their handling charges are a bargain. I have three friends who also have mailboxes there, we frequently pick up each other's packages. A round trip typically take me about 4 1/2 hours, more or less depending on the lineup at the border.

  4. I never took this as a slight to Canadians .
It is a pain in the ass cross border shopping .
Not only the shipping, but the risk of getting ripped off to boot

I didn't see that as a slight by Danny either, I don't think one needs to apologize because of someone elses perception of a given statement.
Kind of irks me when people are put into this position, it never happened, accepting an unneeded apology seems kind of rude.

Danny (HRP) will do that more often than not.

Here is a really rare one, all stainless with red painted bars, made by Dales Mfg.
I'd consider trading for an original one in like condition.
