I ran across this picture in this months Street Scene. If this isn't Larrys deuce it's almost a double of his old car
The history on the coupe was Larry sold it to Bruce Meyers in 2008, then Bruce sold it to a friend David Kelley and then in 2016 Bruce got the car back, as far as I know Bruce still owns the car today. Bruce refers to the car as the "Roller Coupe", a fitting tribute to our late friend. HRP
No reference with the photo as to who owns the car so I'd imagine that Bruce had it out for show and tell as he is known to do. Count me as another who Misses Larry's posts, wit, humor and all around comments.
There are differences between the two pics despite numerous similarities. Peep mirror and the pitman arm, but those changes are easily done, so is it the same car? Patiently waiting...… Chris
I noticed the St Louis shop that does "Speed Is The New Black" has Larry's car on their sign. Love that little car. --Abone
The picture was at a show in California in-out-burgers&Hot Rod magazines 79th anniversary birthday day bash
Larry was on my bucket list of hambers to meet. His posts were something else. He passed way too soon
The first time I met Larry I asked him if the seats were comfortable. His reply was "don't ask me; get in it and see for yourself." What a guy. Miss him. Dad gummit. And, oh-by-the-way; what a car! Bruce is a fortunate guy to have it.
