Joe was my dad. He died in 1989. I don't remember the car as a child, as I was too young when he sold it. I do have a few pictures, and a couple of trophies he won with the car. I worked with dad in the shop and I believe the car came through the shop again around 1970, but I believe it had a SBC in it by then and was painted yellow. Can't be sure. Anyway thanks for the kind words and posting those pictures. As long as it wasn't wrecked or destroyed somehow, I would think it's still around somewhere.

I’ve had this one since 1970, was on the road till 1981 when I robbed the engine to repower my 3W after blowing up the 301”.Those two kids are now 37 and 42.

Is that one of the newer Toyota colors?^^^ I have been toying with doing mine in one of those colors, but can't see chrome wheels with it. Your black wheels confirms my thinking.
