Hot Rods How does your car sound?

This is my '57 moving it at the paint shop on Sunday after sanding on it all day. Video is somewhat poor, my buddy took it with his phone.

 

I'm loving it, Lumpy! What color is going on it?

 

Mine?

Nearly silent at idle. Pleasantly quiet at freeway speed, thanks to my customary 4-layer sound dampening and absorption setup. Probably no way that it could be quieter with drip rails.

Everything is sound deadend, including the trunk.

The audio system is crystal clear. Conversations are easy to have. The car is very comfortable, even on the longest runs.

 

I have all that noise suppression in my A, but it still can be heard a block away!

Everything I own is all apart! My F100 has broken motor mount crossmember tube, and some other things needed doing...Wife will be installing the Rebel wiring kit!
I NEED mufflers! Nasty, raspy sound coming out of those long, tapered chrome scavengers...
Really like the sound of 36" glass-paks in 2" muffler moly all the way back. Has that roundish "Wooom, wooom" sound.
(Fruit of the 'woom'? Why, suped-up SBC, of course)

 

Oh boy, Lumpy. You got some sanding and finish work to make an all black car look good.

 

Boat anchor sound
