Anybody know who had those trick looking machined Model 'A' tie rod ends? I remember seeing them a few years ago, here on the HAMB. They were beautifully machined, I think it was one of the California hot rod builders, not Moan. I think he'd come on here from time to time and show some of his pieces. That ring a bell with anybody? Thanks, Oj
Yes, those are the ones I saw and now I know why I don't have a set - they are male and the original Model A are female. Those are perfect for bungs in a split wishbone, I need them for actual tie rod ends. Thanks for the link, Waldens has some very nice pieces that look very handy.
I've had a set of those in my hands recently, produced by Haze City, who sold the production to Walden. They are made from actual old Ford parts, and intended to be used for split wishbone ends. But, Haze City used to make some fancy matching tie rod ends with elaborate adjusters. Does Walden make those now too? On this car we are just going to use original Ford ends for the tie rod and drag link. When all painted and plated they should match up well.
