Can't remember if I posted thes here before, but if I can't remember y'all probably don't either.
Early Starbird work on a '53 owned by Ed Pouge here in Enid OK. Olds J2 power. Body and paint set him back a whopping $1000 back in the day which he paid off $35 a week. 20170124_143527.jpeg 20170124_143555.jpeg 20170124_143103.jpeg 20170124_143617.jpeg 20170124_143157.jpeg

The Thunderbird bumper/grill has been shortened vertically and the side trim is '58 Del Ray trim upside down.

You've probably seen this gnarly GNash, but this photo gives some idea of how diminutive (i.e., "small" :D) it really is!

Check the front bumper on this one!
Scallops barely show on photo, but must be stunning in person.

One of the nicer Shoebox coupe chops, this one is like no other (well, other than the original :D).
Stock rear window was left intact, and entire deck area lowered accordingly (hence the fins).

  24. Agreed. Its kind of quirky and a bit ugly but soooo cool. I read somewhere it is a tribute to George Barris hence being called George.

One of my favorite cars of all times. I will admit my bias though, since the owner adopted me as a son when I was in my late 20s.
