Any one ever done this? I know there is a bracket to mount a tag on the spreader bar on a '32 but I would like to see one mounted on the bumper iron. HRP
What's a "bumper iron"? Hell, what's a bumper? and why would you put a front tag on your car? You need to move to the Midwest where we don't put up with that shit.
i believe the `35-`36 fords had the front license plate on a bracket that mounted on the bumper irons
Why leave the Sunny South and not being able to drive the hot rods all year long, you will probably have to park your hot rod due to a snow storm within the next week. HRP

Not sure if you can make it out too good and not a 32 but this is the one on the front of my 34 Ford pickumup. I found the bracket in a box of junk that came with my pickup so I figured it is supposed to go there since the bolt holes lined up with two tapped holes in the bumper mounts.
Like this? My ‘37 has a bumper iron mounted front plate. Sent from my iPad using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
The OFC plaque on my sedan had a cast tab on the top & the bottom, depending how one wanted to mount it just cut the unused one off and file to perfection, the tabs are about 4 inches long and I just drilled a hole in the tab and mounted it on the rear bumper bolt. HRP
I think so, but don’t know for sure. https://www.chevsofthe40s.com/detail/8253/Chevrolet_Bracket_License_Plate_Front.html Sent from my iPad using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Older, in progress photos, but i made this bracket from aluminum plate to mount a license plate and medallion to the front bumper of my '31 Ford. Note that PA requires only a rear bumper,so this is illegal, but I've not been stopped, yet.
Even though front plates are required here in CT I don't run one..30 years and no problem on my shoebox..Wouldn't try it on the Crosley or Comet but there is a place for one.
Yeah I,m your neighbor to the north. Our backwards ass state still requires a front tag. You know they have to see us criminals front and back up here!
Just keeping those prisoners busy making plates and more available for collectors. Good for the economy.
