View attachment 4134903 Got this old girl finally going after me and my dad started building it 14 years ago, when we first got it, it had no front frame and floors and parts of firewall were torched out and the interior and dash we're hacked out, car has a subframe off a 69 Camaro welded to the front and has 4 wheel drum (actually stop pretty good) The engine is a 283 sbc out of a mid 60s wagon and a 4 barrel intake off a 67 corvete, and a TB350 with lokar shifter, the rear diff is out of a 57 chevy. And with the help of a donor vehicle it has almost all the interior minus a headliner. She drives pretty darn good and is pretty quick with the 4:11 in the back it still needs a lot of work but I'm stoked to finally be able to get behind the wheel of this thing, plans now are to finish painting the car in 2 tone sating black and pink and then put windows in and try and find some white walls to go with my full wheel caps that say DeSoto, This plobably won't be a build thread but I'll post updates about the car as I add to it and drive it Thanks for lookin, Dillon
I had one of those, fluid drive semi automatic, with a rompin stompin 110 hp flathead 6. I like the look and stance of yours.
Thanks, and I kinda like the stompin straight six but every one we found had a rod out the side of the block
Worked on it a bit today and got all the windows in and put the door panels and a new steering wheel on, trying to find a old Impala steering wheel
