A couple of things strike me in this photo. Impressive that the front cap is fastened to the body so well it doesn't need the frame to stay in place. Second is in regards to the hooks holding up the rear of the car. I can't imagine them lifting the car by the fenders, I know they were well built but dang.

It was on the early advertisements but I never saw one with it. I believe there was a black one at one of the auctions on TV a while back and it had a production # under 5...

Good points. I like production line photographs.

I suppose it is the body only, and those fenders are strong enough. It may not have seats etc. in.

  27. Great run of photo's Bleach, each and every one. Thank you!! If I see a photo posted more than once, I feel reassured that my memory is still intact and I'm able to recognize it. I don't think I have ever seen a photo on this thread that bothered me or made me uncomfortable but then again I'm not bothered by much. I hope this (and I doubt it will) thread does not evolve into a Politically Correct - Me Too Movement - or where is my Safe Room affair. Either block the poster, scroll faster or realize there may be some content you don't agree with. Using my 1,000th post to wish you all a Merry and safe Christmas!

I just wanted to thank Gary and all of you for your postings and comments. This site really keeps me going. After each day of work, the first thing I do when I get home is get on the HAMB and see the day's contributions. Merry Christmas to each of you, may this next year be all that we hope for img00004.gif !!!
