Are original parts from flatheads worth selling anymore? I have some old heads and other odds and ends and Iam about to scrap if they aren’t worth selling Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Yup, I have old original flatty parts as well. If they are not aluminum.........seems stocks iron heads are not worth hanging on to, nor stock iron 2bbl intakes. Mine are going to the iron yard this spring! Carbs cores are still selling. Some exhaust manifolds. I'm going to hang on to my stock cranks.
EAB heads are good ones, let me know if that's what they are... What generation of flathead are we talking about here? 8ba?
Make up a list. Put a "final ad" (maybe "free") here and on fordbarn. Remember that some of the '32 stuff can surprise you. I think I have a lot of the same stuff you are talking about. Garage cleaning time. Charlie Stephens
Keep them. Don't toss in the trash. Clean them up. Paint them. Everything goes around in cycles. Don't price them too high. Remember, not everyone has a flathead.
I just picked a set of EAB heads along with some other flathead stuff that came with the Merc engine I wanted. Shipping would be pricey but PM me if you're interested.
I've had some stock flathead heads I've been trying to get rid of for about 10 years. 21A, 59ab, and eab heads. Finally scrapped them this summer when I moved.
