Saw this video today, and wanted to share it...Brings back some wonderful memories from my high school days... (Am 74 years old) Never could afford one, but just plain tops IMO.. Also love that flat head sound with glass packs.. Hope you older folks enjoy this as much as I did. Cheers. https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=2042018119144847
I can remember doing that, grew up in a fairly small town and we would drag Broadway, at the south end of town we turned around in a parking lot. On snowy days you would turn into the parking lot and crank the wheels and hit the gas, cut a couple of kitties and head back out the drive. Not real bright but a lot of fun, don't remember anyone ever hitting anything which is surprising since there were several light poles.
I remember guys pulling '40 Ford hoods behind another car with 3 or 4 guys on-board the makeshift "sled".......
On Edit: I grew up living less than a mile from Lake Geneva.. We used to do that constantly in the winter on the lake...was especially fun at night.. (Now I don't care to even walk on the ice) LOL
We did that every winter when I was young. Also towed car hoods behind my 4x4 on the back roads. Was a blast. Bones
