Long story short, almost done my build. Started with a frame and a cab about 5 years ago. A really great feeling cruising around town this week in something I put alot of time, thought, blood and sweat into. I am pretty excited to get onto the finishing touches that help define the truck like my interior, bed and a few other small items. She drives nice with the front clip, power steering and brakes, and moves good with the 302/C6 setup. A few minor bugs to work out the next few weeks. Thanks to a bunch of people on here over the years that helped give advice and technical help.

Chappy, I'm building a similar truck with SBF and AOD tranny. What engine mount did you use for your 302? I've seen a pretty reasonably priced one at Midwest Early Ford, and they did me right on my running boards. Just curious. Also, could you show us your interior?

Hey delray. When I bought the frame the mounts were already in for the 302 so I am not too sure where they sourced them. My interior isn't complete, just put down the foil for the insulating and this winter I will do carpet and upholstery.

I had to do a bunch of work on the truck this summer. It didn't ride like I wanted it to so I put adjustable coil springs on the front and raised it up an inch, it was too low. Moved my rear axle forward....... And in doing so I had my spring perches off, took it for a quick burn and my axle shifted up, driveshaft tagged the crossmember, new shaft now and u joints. Just pulled the rad to put in an aluminum one with a fan as the brass on the old one was getting weak and cracking. So this winter I am finishing the bed, getting my interior together and back on the road. Then the pics will roll in and my build thread.
