1939 Ford Panel Truck Project

    Just rescued this one from storage in northern Ohio and hope to get her running again. Original 24 bolt flathead with 29k miles when parked in garage 30 yrs ago.
    Straight body an minimal rust.
    Ive heard only 250-350 produced in 39 but can't confirm. If anyone has production details I would lime to know. I'll post pics as I go along.

    Congrats man. That thing is cool. I'm kind of bias being as I own a 38 pick up. I'll think you'll get alot more feedback if you post it on HAMB instead of antiquated. Have fun with it.

    I own the exact truck in the same color and about the same condition. Yes 350 made that yr. Thousands made in 38.

    these are rare and cool in their own right! Barrel nose grill...........

    looks relatively stock except for tail lights.

    that's nice picked good luck.This is my 39 Ford panel truck all steel, there weren't alot produced in 39 I'm not sure about 38 they had the same body in 38 including the nose.
