Just spent the day there with my family.

We had an awesome time seeing old friends, making some new ones, seeing some great old cars and watching some cool drag racing.

Way to go guys!!!! Great event!!!!
I hope it becomes an annual event!!!

They had a fantastic turn out! I met a few of the HAMB guys there, didn't have time to see many of the cars in the big show, but I did see a few. I got to make a pass in the Chevy II, it ran good! That was fun. I guess not many guys get to race at this strip.

It was neat seeing several iconic cars in the Hot Rod tent.

It was nice meeting and talking with you Jim. It was a great show. I did make my way outside the big tent to find your car, but you weren't around. I got some good pics of it I'll post up at some point, I'm still going through all my pics (I took over 500 that day). The car looked good!

 

My son - a SoCal resident - got me hooked on those double pass fries. Another thing you have to know about to order it as I did not see it on the menu. Crispy like a potato chip on the outside and yummy warm and soft inside. Call me a fast foodie.
