    What kind of car is that? Does that say "Supercharged" on the hood? What is that emblem/insignia on the center grille bar?

  12. I was wondering as well. Looks like a converted Pommie Rover 90. Otherwise a Austin A55 .

    Thanks for the lead khead. I looked that up and it seems to be a 36/37 Graham I could not find a model because there are several and 37 had different side hood panels on some models.

    I'd go for the converted Rover 90. There is a strong similarity. People involved in this sort of racing would be the type of people that would build a ute from a saloon.

    It looks like the Cliff Woodbury driven Boyle Valve car # 10 to me. Same car & driver in 1928 INDY 500. Bob
