I worked a couple of days with a radiator man here, (Livingston, 6 miles North) he showed me the 'flow', or 'float' of the top shelf, where the tubes all come thru...the tank is a 'cakewalk' after that, but to 'set up' to do my T would defeat every corner of the A.D.D. that has ahold of me!
My former 'B' Teamrace partner Doug and I got to designing and building our own tanks for the .29 C.I. racing engines in the Control Line race planes we also built.
No 'solder mess', every joint was done with a minimal amount of solder, then wiped as clean as when we tinned it.
But full size radiators? I'll look for a 'radiator man', although they are an endangered species! Either too old or dead!
