Hot Rods I Found this Automotive Grill in a Barn

    Grill as in BBQ or one to cook on is correctly spelled grill whereas a grille in a car has an e on the end. I just happened to look that up about a week ago and before I saw this thread.

    Nostrebor, ya got that right! I use misspelling quite often when searching for elusive items.

    I just checked my Concise Oxford English Dictionary, and "spelt" is indeed accepted past tense of spell.

    Spelt is also used in Aussie language. As, i spelt that word wrong.;)

    Obviously everyone wants to discuss spelling rather than automotive parts.
    Maybe it’s not automotive after all.........
