After many years of preparing to paint my F-1 myself, I finally realized at 71 the odds were against it. I found someone who would paint it the way I wanted it done, but they were 400 miles away. I delivered it Labor day, thinking it's in paint jail now. Got a phone call Thursday, come and get it! So 800 miles later, it's home. Not show quality but I love it. It's not done but it's a whole lot easier to look at now. Picture was taken at a gas stop in scenic El Paso (Arkansas).
Nice looking pickup. None of my cars are "show quality"..it sure takes some stress away when you drive them.
Nice but needs a little bling or bright work or is that yet to go back on ? Having said that you have built it how you want it so the only person who has to be happy with it is you. Well done.
looks great to me , ive been working on my f1 all weekend to get ready to take to the bendigo swap in a few weeks
Seems a shade or two darker than Rock Moss Green Model A's. Just right for an F1. I'm so happy for you. Now drive that thing as soon as you can!
330 hp Chevy crate motor, No motor pics out of respect for the Ford guys, 350 trans, 9" rear, Volare front. 3" chop, Building this for my retirement ride (if I ever do retire). Rainy today, it's still dirty from the trip home.
That is a handsome truck. Looks awfully nice from here! Awfully nice? Is that even a thing? Don't tell the grammar girls, they are busy on another thread. Sweet truck sir.
