I am adapting a 283 to my 1934 ford transmission with a wilcap adapter, Chevy flywheel and 1950 Merc pressure plate. Does anyone know the skf or national throw out bearing that I need? Part numbers are best as the parts guys here can’t find anything. Does transdapt make the pilot bushing adapter? 10” clutch disk?
    Thanks

Your stock throughout bearing will work with the Mercury pressure plate. If you don't have one, C&G in Escondido can help. Patrick at Wilcap will have your pilot bushing and so will Speedway .

Is it a Merc bearing or the early Ford that I need?
    Thanks

'50 Merc uses Ford bearing...I think with 78 parts prefix, fits all early V8's through 1948, and various later flatheads including '49-50 Merc. Or you will be taking half your car apart soon. There are numerous late plates whose fingers are spaced for a smaller than early Ford plate and will turn things in there into iron filings.

DON't use wrong pressure plate, you will not be able to hold clutch in at stop lite,
research it, I forgot which one is the correct one, ask somebody...
