    Yes came out and saw this beautiful 39/40 Ford truck parked by itself.Windows were down too! [​IMG]

    Gorgeous! Looks like 40 hood trim but a 41 hood badge on the side? Either way it is classic.

    Lots of details that make this one extra nice. And, maroon paint on a Forty is just right. I see it has an aftermarket column with tilt/turn/automatic shifter. The bed is cool. Looks like oak. I was under the impression Ford used Steel. But, then again seeing this Beauty, anything is possible. Philo, are you sure it's not yours and you are not giving us a peek at it?

  9. It's one of the best places TO GO. Don't ask me either, ask my kids. They love the local library.

    ..... and with trucks like that, we may have to go more !!

  12. It's a '40. '41 emblems on the hood sides. A '39 has an oval grille similar tobut not same as '38 (see avatar photo at left. '40 was the first year that pickups had headlights in the fender like a '40 car.
