Isn`t Harold`s old Chevy green now.

 

I thought it was green but that had been a few years since I have seen it.. I guess we need to see the eye ball in the steering wheel.

 

For those of you who don`t know, when Harold passed away, his glass eye was mounted in the horn button.

 

Those are two different cars. There are pictures in this thread from the Lead East and Dead Man's Curve Shows. One was at each show. The primered one is in the background of the picture with the '54 Chevy with purple flames.

It is in a garage 2 blocks from my house,and has been for years.John drove the car to the NHRA Nationals in Oklahoma in 1958.If you look at the pictures on page 159 post #4767, the car with no bumpers and primered skirts, does not have 1941 cadillac tail lights , dead give away.I even built a duplicate of John's coupe years ago , which I got a nod of approval from John Cassaubon himself. The one I built was a hit , we went to kkoa , james dean, Marshall , Michigan, and of course With Video Bob at Action Video, Ask Bob he knows me , Chuck Power, Toledo Ohio
