My thoughts EXACTLY!!. Helps quickly diagnose itself. Frame mounted passenger frame rail in 87-91 Ford F150 factory mounting bracket.

I've ran both Facet and Mr Gasket versions of that style pump for years now. One on the Lincoln right now, my E350 motorhome with the 460 has one also. Simple and quiet.

The pump I used was from rock auto. Also used a carter check valve so the pump would not short the fuel back to the inlet. To make my pump quite I mounted it on a thick piece of rubber belting. Also has rubber hose on the ends of the pump. A solid wire was used to limit the up and down movement of the pump.

  10. Carter was the quietest and best from my exp. I used one on my crewcab that pulled the dragster for years. This was years ago ,though. Maybe the new ones aren't the same. :)

Instead of carrying an extra pump, I mounted two side by side. Takes less than 5 minutes to switch electrical and plumbing. IMG_0637.JPG
