The came out outrageous. Truly you are a craftsman. Love the cover. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Thank you but it's far from as good as it will be. Next spring, after the chop I'll be starting from the front, one panel at at time till it's baby bottom smooth.
Great video!!! There are some things I'd have done done differently, but absolutely nothing that I don't like. But, IMHO, those Plymouth tail lights are the cheese! Play on, Drummer!
I look at it and I'm ready to start over but it's cruising weather. This fall/winter the chop and come spring I start again, panel by panel for that baby bottom smooth! I found a dash for $50. Now if I can find the original Speedo and gauges I'll get rid of the aftermarket I inherited.
I have a spare speedo in my shed send me address I’ll send it to you makes a little noise. Let me know if you want it. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Oh man, just saw this. Yes please!!!! Thank you. My email is [email protected] drop me a message and I'll give you details . You're the greatest!
Back window looks very appropriate for the car, that's nice custom work when it looks like it belongs there.
Been a summer of cruising so far getting to know her. The passenger fender was rubbing on every dip in the road so some strong arm adjustment needed ad now all is good. The rear springs are still rock hard and will be addressed next year. Wiring all good except gas tank... that's a round to it project too. I've got a celenoid kit to do at some point but that'll be after the chop this winter. I guess I should get some glamour shots out and about but I don't sit long enough to snap any.
Thank you I think it fits like it belongs there. Next is chop and molded fenders and flush fit skirts. Paint will come when I hit lottery lmao Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app

Fortunately we have a few color photos of the car from around 1952 showing the Joe Bailon added metallic dark red over yellow. The car must have been stunning to witness in person. Maybe Balions 41 is already here in all these great posts but if it is, it deserves another IMO. I saw this at a Seattle car show when I was about 12/13 I think it was. My best bud and I could name every car and year on the road at the time and we were dumbfounded at this 41. This was the start of my compulsion for cars.
