I just purchased a 36 coupe with terrible taillight placement and would like to put stock style lights back on the car. Bob Drake makes a right side stand without rumble seat step, will this stand also work on the left side? I don’t need the stock stand with the gas fill or license plate bracket, not sure if the stands are straight so they could be swapped left and right. Sent from my iPad using H.A.M.B.
No,but you can try.The angle is different.I see them on EBAY quite often or place a wanted ad on www.fordbarn.com.
iirc they're handed, not just by function (gas cap hole v step or plain) but by them having a gentle (handed) sweep toward the center of the car. Chris
