IMG_1356.JPG IMG_1355.JPG This is mine with old 2 5/8" gauges. I made the dash panel and the birds eye maple piece over the top. I've been enjoying them for 20 years.

I like the larger gauges, with a small speedometer. Yours is esp nice.
    thanks,

  4. This is a work in progress. The dash is a 1937 Ford unit. Being I'm Flathead powered I wanted gauges that looked and worked correct. It will use all stock 37 Gauges and spedo. I also like the fact I'll now have a glove box. Minor job with good results for this project. I was actually able to mount the 40 steering column and use the locking key switch. It kind of all just fell into place. I know the 28\29 is a bit narrower but there's plenty of material to trim off should you want to try this set up.

Tried a 50 ford dash on a 31 roadster. It didn't work out. Yours looks good. A friend has a 31 coupe with a 35 dash.

    Here's mine. It may have a few things you're not going to need . . . dash.jpg

    trimmed these dashes ... DSCN2642 (2).JPG DSCN2810.JPG DSCN2840.JPG DSCN2859.JPG DSCN2880.JPG … for '30-'31 but could work on the '28-'29s...
