265 sbc

hi there I just bought a 1956 265 chevy eng its bored 80 over should it be ok or am I going to have heating issues ?

Their is definitely an issue with the thinness of the metal used on the early sbc 's. And I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but over 60 is the max even for the 283. My guess is whoever bored that over 80 didn't know s!#t from shinola.

80 with no compression is still pushing it.
