Just wondering if you drop a stock 55-59 axle, does it exaggerate the wheel position in relation to the opening?
A lot of guys move them forward when they subframe them.

Anyone have pics of a stock dropped axle?

  5. It gets a little exaggerated too because of adding caster shims to get it to drive right. Amazing how much a 4 degree shim seems to lay the axle back ultimately moving the spindles back a little more than the stock location. But, I don't think it necessarily looks incorrect either. Here is a better side view. However, if you are still doing a sub-frame, it might be good to move it forward slightly.
