I haven't seen Porknbeaner in quite a while. Where's he at? His 30 days in the pokey should be up soon.

I had been wondering the same thing, his history shows activity about a week ago or so.
Maybe he's out scouring the countryside for Crosley parts.

  7. He's off his meds again and probably got his old Harley running and spending some time on the road or the witness protection has moved him to a different location again. HRP

He’s just got his hands full with life right now. Well and maybe a sink today.

    He’s fine.

Well, as fine as Beaner gets.

I'd have to go along with what Tim Said. I hear from him about daily on FB but he has been pretty busy selling late model cars at the dealership he works at along with all the other stuff he has on his plate.

Ok ok ok he actually moved to Alaska to pan for gold but didn’t want anyone knowing because he didn’t want people bothering him for his undoubtably large fortune he was about to unearth.

Geesh, there ya go guys. Happy?

Man he’s gonna be angry when he finds out I told :S

  23. OK fellas here's the deal. There has been a lot going on here, most of it not so good.
This I not face book and some of it you are probably better off not to know anyway. Never the less I have been less than pleasant (OK fuckin grumpy) and the overwhelming majority of you all don't deserve that. So I just figured it best to stay away until I am in a better mood.

There have been a couple of HAMB friendly and almost HAMB friendly things happening too. Not much in the line of progress which may attribute to my mood but . . . well here goes anyway.

Almost HAMB friendly first. I dropped a valve on my Harley as some of you may know, and it has been quite a while back. The previous machinist did some marginal work which is why I dropped a valve and I had to get creative to find a valve seat that would work. I found one that with some minor machine work will have the proper clearance/interference and that is a good thing, uh I think. ;)

HAMB friendly next. Converting the '40 Ford rear on my Crosley to open drive was gonna be a nightmare. They used a Merc/Lincoln driveshaft, which is one piece pinion/driveshaft. So after much consternation I finally decided to go the later 9" route ( I would use an olds if someone has a posi they want to donate :D). I have a 31 spline Detroit locker. I have not yet decided what housing to use, I got a smooth back or the later Bronco housing. The smooth back is pretty narrow but sizing the axle housings is no biggy so I may go that route. Decisions, decisions. LOL

If that sounds like I am cheaping out I am. LOL But it serves a better purpose. The Kid ( @Austin kays ) needed brakes and wheels for the rear of the A bone. Now he has '40 Ford brakes and reversed '40 wheels for his project. So yes I am cheating, it makes life a little easier for me and it gets the Kid that much closer to getting a pretty traditional A sedan on the road. (note I am not a saint it just worked out well for the both of us)

Anyway so much for the never ending saga of the beaner. I am OK enough, no need for all the I hope you get better and I am praying for you stuff. I'll be back eventually when I am pretty sure that I can bite my tongue instead of biting your head off. Thanks for asking.

Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

Oh and part of the not so good hit the bank pretty hard if you catch my drift. ;)
