I'm trying to find a GM 5 lug wheel with width suitable to run 600//16 tires. Can anyone suggest a application that would allow this. I'm putting a latter 5 lug pattern rear in a 46 Chevrolet and still want to run 600x16 tires as in the front. Thanks

Later model GM pickup spare tire wheels ? But they are different bolt pattern than car . Not too many rear wheel drive cars to get spares from today

I am not aware of any factory produced wheels that are 5 lug 4.75" diameter bolt circle that would take a 6.00-16" wheel, Chevy was all 6 lug until '49 for cars and the half ton trucks kept on as 6 lugs until 1971, long past the era of a 5 on 4.75". I think you'd have to have them custom made to do what you're suggesting.

  5. Didn't you have another thread on this yesterday?

I read your other thread and in my humble opinion I do believe it would be easier to redrill your hubs to fit your old wheels.

'34-'36 Standard 6's had 5-on-4-3/4" pattern, if I remember correctly. I think they were 17's though.

I think that is the infamous 5 on 4.25" pattern, lots of cool looking artillery wheels floating around with that pattern that really fits nothing else, and they are indeed 17"

past discussions we've had about those wheels, I recall they were not 4.75" bolt circle. But I could be wrong.
