That’s a nice shot. A dapper young man and his machine, or his fathers machine or whatever, it’s just nice to see young people interested in old cars. Pass the torch.

I wonder if those cast iron headers fit a '66-67 Fairlane 500... Probably not!... :(

No,afraid not. These fit the 1965 and up Ford Galaxies. (Look at the car in my avitor). They only came on the 427 powered cars. There are cast iron sets that fit the Fairlanes, but look different than the ones I holding. I been looking for a set for years, found them last month.

Guy in Torrington, CT back in the late 70’s had an original “R” code fairlane, ‘67 I think. He ran headers but I recall talking about the manifolds that came on the car and he had them still. The right side looked worse than a truck manifold off of a 360 wrecker.

Nothing like the big car 427 manifolds.

Skin heals and grows back, but tools are expensive, and must be pampered!

Me and the SO in Vegas for the hockey game last month. Alas she has no interest in cars... unless I've saving us wads of cash by fixing them myself... or using the equipment to make plant hangars an other items. dave julie LV hockey niht.jpg
