Did some more work this weekend. Slowly picking away at it. I did some more on the floors and started putting in a battery box.
Did some more on the floors. I also took it off the frame table. Looks way different on the floor. I like it alot this thing is going to be wicked when done.
Here are 2 more pictures. My 9 year old daughter just came down to the garage. She saw it and said cool dad. She's my future hot rodder. I'm slowly teaching her about old cars and hot rods.
Your body closely resembles the European Deuce that had suicide doors. Where the Hell are all of these jewels? Don't recall ever seeing one ! Good luck.
Would there be much cutting up to "slip" a SBC/700R4 between the sheets, lower it a bit, then drive it like ya stole it? That is a beautiful ride as it sits. Oh, I forgot Vintage Air a/c-heat. That makes it a year-round cruiser. Now, I have to buckle my non-traditional seatbelt and get ready for the flak. LOL
Well have not been doing too much. I got the front post looking good. When I did the chop. It made it not look right. I also did some work on the rear of the body and have been doing some dolly work. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
So not been doing too much. Doings small things here and there. I finally got around to bending the steering arms and got some steering linkage on. I will still need to magna flux them. I also need to get the pitman arm on the Vega box figured out. The ford tie rod don’t fit right. The hole seems a little too big. So if someone knows. Where to get pitman arm to fit the 35 Ford tie rod part number would be great. I did also work on the driver side door some. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
