A while ago i bought the brackets for the CE front shock kit for my 47 Ford coupe (AR-2039) Right now I'm using the stock spring just to line things up until i get a lowered one later on. The drivers side bracket fell right into place, but the passengers side the spring sits against the pan hard boss. The description says it works with either stock or lowered spring. I was wondering if anyone else had an issue like this for their 42-48 Fords? bracket.jpg

  4. Should work OK with some weight on it, CE shackles (version without shock mounts) on my '47. This is a reversed eye spring; but should give you the idea a stock eye will fit too.
