I'm currently building a 27 T 3 window from scratch. Just had the 27 cowl. It's on a heavily modified 32 frame I did and is starting to take shape. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]o[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

  2. Humm, that's getting interesting. You have some cool stuff in your shop. I like the Falcon. What's the story on the Honda Cub in your third picture?

I like it. A turtle deck from a 27 would look wild. Although the boobbed back end is cool too.

Seems like it might have been easier to start from scratch on the frame

Yeah but I had the frame so I decided to use it. It was a wrecked frame that was a freebee.

I was in agreement with Anderson and couldn't believe you cut up a cherry frame...then went back to look when you said it was wrecked.
Damn...that took a hard hit! LoL
The build is a little too far into the show rod end of things for my "driver" tastes, BUT I have to say you are making it look cool as hell.
    Good stuff!
Definately gonna keep watching this build!! :D

First off I think the car is cool...and your calling it a show rod for the reason of??? Again I'm not putting down the car or its look and style... I am just kind of trying to under stand why when a car that was posted on another thread , that car being "The Purple People Eater" I believe... , and it being kind of a similar type of build was so criticized and put down ... I under stand it being possibly OT and even that I really didn't under stand completely and some of the comments were getting uncalled for ,meaning if it's not what your into and you just have to say something then just say that's not your thing and move on... I guess some people just need to totally burn something they don't agree with to the ground in order to make themselves feel better, at least in there eyes, and I'm not posting a picture of the other car for the reason of it got so much negative attention last time .... I'm sure this post will cause enough for that I am sorry but I am just trying to understand the difference...why when two cars are similar but one is excepted and one is not....just saying...

It's going to be a finished 60s style show rod, Weesner/Ed Roth inspired when it's finished. It's still in the build stages. It's will be a lavender metallic purple with fogging. Full custom interior and padded top insert on the roof. Building a custom grill shell with A-symmetrical headlights and looks of chrome and polished pieces. Hope this gives you a better idea of the direction I'm going with the build.

Altered inspired raked engine. Always dug that style. I live in Chicago also and the roads suck!

Huge huge props on your talent, sir
Love it all. Pic on trailer is even cool. It gives me inspiration to build a bit outside the box on my 27 t.
