Installed a Moon Tank just for appearance. Do I run a fuel line for appearance or leave alone? If I run one for appearance would I just 'tuck' it away in the engine compartment? Thanks for advice!

This means my idea years ago of a fake blower would catch on. Oh wait a minute, Mad Max already did that. Third WTF

I would run the fuel line, just have it disappear to nowhere, and never open the hood in public.

Then try to make this face while driving around . . .

If you're going to smuggle dope then by all means make it look authentic.

Fill it with your favorite beverage and run the line to the interior.

That's funny because a friend of mine had a 31 Chevy 2dr. sed. hot rod in 65/66 with the moon tank in front and DID have it filled with his favorite beverage which was vodka and orange juice plus ice.

  18. This is what the plumbing on a real Hilborn set up looks like. If you don't want comments like all the above, install Hilborn injection on your engine, or hang the tank on your garage wall.

Wow... Tough crowd! I think he lost interest in posting further. He took a beating here.... I can't say that I don't blame him for not posting anything else.

I am not one to put things on my car just for looks, but I am not one to dog a poor guy out who is just asking for some opinions.

  22. Plumb it in as a rad overflow and then it’s not a fake piece.
