I think that the old rule was that you were golden if you didn't break 12. But don't hold me to that. It should make a return trip anyway. I don't recall that we met ( of course I could have been inebriated) and I would hate to not know who owns that roadster.
I can't recall either. I think the car was last there in 2008. Drove there from Platte City, raced, and drove it home. (With a pregnant wife as co-pilot). Good times.
What about allowing Plymouth and Dodge Flatheads? They are six bangers, but it would be fun to see how the hold up against a V8.... Sent from my XT1585 using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I will going, but not racing, the truck is pretty slow and quite, so no use slowing up everyone else. Can I park in the show area if I am just going to watch? Don't mind paying extra, I just don't like to leave the truck out with the general public parking. Do I need to register?
This reminds me I have a flathead Ford car that I need to finish. I need goals to get my ass in gear. Thanks Ryan! Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I just may bring my Hemi powered Model A. It's a 4 speed and don't feel like working on it all weekend. So the plan is to trailer it from Arizona, park the motorhome in the pits and cruise southwest Missouri and watch some cool old stuff racing. There is weekend camping on site? Right
There is no on site camping anymore. One of the fellas offered camping at his place near MOKAN. I unfortunately do not remember who it is but maybe a search using camper and porknbeaner as your poster will get you something.
Gas coupe/sedan or dragster class and I have not seen a recent update on that vehicle either. Come on @Ryan tease us a little bit, please?
Haven't been since 2012, think I'm gonna try and bring the old 55' stude. Got some issues to get worked out with the new power plant though. How it looked in 12', and now. Fighting a water leak and converter issues. Have gone 10.88/ 125 with the new bullet, hoping to go 10.20's or so.
We decided last year to not defend the Yahoo title out of good sportsmanship. If we show up it will be with the big trailer so we have some shade. Us northern boys aren't used to all that southern crazy heat. Last year was brutal. We would enter the gas coupe sedan class. The new engine combo is a 426 based Hemi on some big nitro.
