Technical How to age rubber?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by hotrod_willie, May 8, 2018.

  1. Just mask it with tape and use a Scotts scrubby, steelwool or sandpaper to take the "new" shine off the rubber and dull it down to a satin finish. If you want more "patina", rub something chalky/dusty into the now open pores of the rubber.

Scrub it with Superclean or Purplepower or try a mix of caustic soda.
