Need help in locating a good supplier for either the entire wood needed for the seat frame and springs on a 5 window coupe or patterns for the seat wood that I can cut myself.

Have a nice frame I bought from a fellow Hamb'er now I just need the wood.

    Thanks
    Don

    Thanks for the bump.

I see where United Pacific is now even remaking the metal portions of the coupe seat frame but no listing of the necessary wood parts in their catalog to complete it.

I had originally place an order with www.fordwoodart.comabout 5 weeks ago for the pieces that I needed but after looking at some of the posts here on the Hamb it appears that ownership has changed and they are not the same company as they once were. I have tried calling the number provided that is also their fax number and not one answers no mater the time of day of the week that I call.

Don't give up. My son got roof wood for a 3W coupe and it took a couple of months. They contacted him when they were ready for his order, asked a couple questions and then produced it shortly after.

I had no wood for my 5 window seat and since it was all going to be covered by material I made it out of 5/8 plywood. Painted it and the seat metal black and with it covered no one is the wiser.

You said you have the metal frame. I will send you pics of the wood on the frame and from that the dimensions will be easy to duplicate and to build your own frame if you wish.

Thank you for the pictures, it helps to see how the wood was originally intended to be installed with the metal portions of the seat.
