Technical Valve cover polishing help

Great thread...will definitely use. When I'm done than I figure I will have more of a understanding of the time and effort put into polishing. Thanks for the advice

I agree with several things said, until you do it, you have no appreciation for the amount of work it'll take to make them your idea of perfect. It'll need sanding way before it'll need just polish and the porosity of the product all play hand in hand.
These took more than just some old polish but also showed porosity after sanding, you need to have experience enough to say when is enough.
