A COOL STORY. (Sloppy jalopies ) sent me a PM. He wanted to send me an old diorama that he had built years ago. I wanted to pay him. But he wouldn't let me. But I Really didn't want to restore it. But just put it in my show case as it is. It's of modified racers from 1955 to 1959. They even have their same numbers and paint schemes. The tower is made from a pencil sharpener. The 34- 5 Windows were made from filled and drilled 3- windows. Nice job, and thanks alot Smitty. RON.... Sent from my SM-G920P using The H.A.M.B. mobile app

Indicates where the airport is to planes in the thirties that were not equipped with radios.RDF did not exist at the time.
I'll add a old pressed steel Roadster. Does anyone else like finding cheap junk and then redoing it ? RON... Sent from my SM-G920P using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Maybe I should schedule a new paint job...something in a red possibly...... Sent from my QTASUN1 using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Speaking of red ... I brought a Studebaker out today for a photo shoot , before shots , it's getting torn down for a rebuild to resemble the real one that I'm currently building...and I couldn't resist bringing the Corvette out for the shoot because the Studebaker is getting some of the same , sort of , type of modifications......plus the vette just looks damn cool...... Well Dean after a little research I see that there's no need to repaint the truck...... I was not aware that your truck had gone yellow everything I have run across is from the early years , the red years , but I guess if you have had it as long as you have its bound to follow along with the latest trends....it's a very cool truck no matter the version..... There are two trucks! The original is still red. Unfortunately, it now lives in England. I've had the yellow one for 23 years. So, I'm happy with either color.
OK...that clears that up...man that would have been a tough one to let go of...looks like you had a lot adventures and fun through the years with it .... sometimes you got to do what you got to do....the yellow one I'm sure keeps the trip alive.....cool truck...
