Some back info on my Rig. Bought it from an older guy. Has a 283. C20 with the Eaton 52 rear end. 4spd granny trans. I just bought some 305 416 casting heads to go with it as well for my rebuild. The motor is stripped and prepped for the machine shop. I want to be able to cruise the streets with it and as well drive it on the highway. My question is, what cam would be wise to throw in with above said package? Id rather not run the 30/30...I've been thinking about the L79 cam, but I've heard that's a no go as well..what would you guys recommed?? TIA
