No, the body is hung from the frame on 1/4" thick by 2" "hooks"

 

On the ground for the first time in 55 years as a flathead powered car!

 

I fabricated a new door bottom for the worst part of the rot....the rest of the car will remain as is...

 

Jerry laboranti repaired the original passenger seat bottom for me...the upholstery is all original!

 

Such a cool looking car, good move sending that old rusty hemi down the road...that flathead looks very proper in there.

 

Way cool @Eli603. Channeled heavy over the frame an unchopped. I like it. I’ll follow your progress. Survivor’s are the Koolest.

Reminds me of the channeled, un-chopped 5 w that 'Oscar' drove in H.G. Felsens "Hot Rod' and shown on book cover!
