Anything cool or Hot Rod related happening in the area 3/19 - 3/30, mainly Sat-Sun (3/24, 3/25). I'll be there for some job training....nothing worse than being stuck in a unfamiliar place with nothing to do. If things were shifted a couple of weeks I'd figure out a way to go back to LSRU!! Adult Toy Factory on Hwy. 70 on the way to White Sands. Bob has built hundreds of cars, huge parts dept., always something to see. He will know of anything happening in southern NM and TX. Lots of hot rods in that area.
X2 Bob is a top drawer guy and worth the visit. He is on the highway from Las Cruces to Alamogordo might want a trip to White Sands
Plenty of good restaurants in Las Cruces. I can not remember the name of one place we ate which was pretty darn good at the time, it had a missile thru the roof. Somebody maybe able to give that place a name and tell us if it is still open...
When we lived in Las Cruces, our favorite Mexican Restaurant was Ranchway on Valley Drive. They have a pretty good car show in the spring. This year it is on Saturday, March 17.
