Here are some pictures from our Detroit trip. I was lucky enough to get out of NJ early Friday morning before the flights got delayed or cancelled, and my brother made it out of Boston the same way. Most of the Great 8 contenders had the wrong wheels for here, so can't post many of those pictures.
We had made a few stops before we got to the Autorama late Friday afternoon. The first stop was the Motown Museum. Very cool. Next, Hot Rod Lady Cruiser had arranged for a tour of the GM Heritage Center again this year. Thanks, Denise. The third stop was the Detroit Art Institute, where I wanted to see the Diego Rivera murals of the '30s Ford Plant, which were amazing.
Great pictures, Thanks for sharing some nice cars, The paint on some of the "show" cars is amazing !!!
Great coverage of the many outstanding rides there along with the murals. Thank for sharing and taking the time to post.
Thanks for taking and sharing those great photos with us that couldn't be there. Does anybody have pictures of the bubbletop I see in the background in the one picture? If you do,mind sharing it with us? Thanks. What little I can see of it I don't recall ever seeing that one before.
ok, no need to post pictures of the bubbletop I requested above. I found it and it is an off topic Volkswagen. Definitely different though.
