If cars could talk to each other the wagon would be telling the others that it stuck the coupe in a box and drug it there through the snow. Rolling up with that outfit had to blow a few minds though.

Perhaps he was speaking collectively as Mike has others on the team at Cornfield and together amazing targets can be achieved.

It's that stupid aftermarket light. Sometimes it works, most time it doesn't, it doesn't hold the bulb tight in the socket, and the little spring that pushes the contacts up barely touches. One of the little "new car" bugs to iron out.

Dang, did I not meet you (that was you pulling on to Jefferson after the show around the stalled Buick, wasn't it?), or did I and forgot?

There actually was a mirror, but I didn't get a shot of it. The chain out off the trans spins a jackshaft that spins a pulley with a cog belt to a differential in the rear. It was beautifully built, but, compared to say, a Morgan, I didn't find it particularly appealing. Having owned a Harley, and a '27 roadster, they don't seem a perfect marriage...

What is the chrome shin-cutter for that sits in front of the spreader on this old Dues racer?

thanks for the pics, we have collectively1300 hours in the complete build to this point. i did the majority of the chassis and suspension work, and shaping on the body. with help from the guys in shop on some of that work as well ask plumbing and wiring. It has been a great team effort to get it to this point and will be to get it finished
