Agreed - the fake so called "gasser" wheels just ruin the old vibe

 

You don't need a nose bleed to get a cool stance with a 55 Post

 

Put a couple of fenders on it to check the look of the 116 i nch wheel base. I do like it 1 inch forward from the stock 115 inch

 

Looking good, expect nothing less from your work though.

That front end looks so easy , even a cave man could do it. I guess I picked the wrong car to use for my Gasser project. I have to make everything. Can't look in the catalog and order it.

 

I got the body that matches the front fenders, the only problem it was involved in a drive through while in my buddies garage. one of his neighbors had a medical issue. I think I will repair it and use it since the floor panels for the most part are in good shape. I will be selling the grey body in a while along with a ton of parts.

 

Needs a full quarter. You can use one from a 4 door. I would jump on that especially with strong floors

Other than the left rear, looks real clean!

 

I have a 4 door parts car that wil be used for the repair and build of my 2 door. Yeah Tom it was a nice driver before the accident.

 

Used parts from the 4 door for the drivers side repair, and put a full pass quarter on it because of severe bondo filler. Sold the dark grey body and 4 door chassis. I put the gasser frame under the blue 55. Starting to fit the big'ns under the rear.

 

Mocked up the fenders to check fit.

 

I was wondering what happened when I saw the other body on craigslist. Glad youre still at this one

 

Nice! Front end sit way up there without the engine in it. You're moving right along.

 

It looks sweet with the gloss hood, kind of a reverse deal going on.

 

TFock I am hoping it will settle down with weight. Gearhead. I was starting to get to many projects sitting around and had to thin the herd.

If there is such a thing as to many projects when it comes to hot rods
