He probably is not a camera guy and just loves to race and hates the flash thats coming but had his hands full of trophy and box...:D

Thats a pretty cushy interior for a Jalopy Racer...

Then after as a Hamb Hoodlum witnessing it all you get to go jump
in the Ole Hotrod/Custom and go for a milkshake at Dairy Queen...

Nice shot of Bill Bagshaw and Miss Linda. I worked on his cars in my Hedman days, he was a class act and his cars were flawless. Good times.

I'd love to see that wonder bread car photo in color! That must have just about been the start of really colorful graphics!.

  15. You will have to search for Don Lewis cast toys. He died about ten years ago and those cars are VERY limited.

It's still around...it may be a little clowny but in another way it was somewhat of a contemporary graphic in 1933.

Turns out the bread company owner attended these car racing events and the colorful balloon releases that were a part of the event inspired the covering on the bread and the racer was also decorated with the balloon inspired theme.

Wonder still nourishes the pallette so many years later...seems both are survivors...

Yes......we did have trophy girls in the Midwest !!! Great to see Ed Sanger.....we built cars to compete with him in 1960's, early 1970's. He was a great driver, but an even better innovator and fabricator.
