History Pat Ganahl’s Low Buck Special... yea, it’s mine!

The short version goes like this...
I got a call from Pat saying that his old Low Buck Special altered might be for sale. Pat gave me Sidney Allen's phone number... Sidney is a GREAT person... and as owned the car since Pat sold it to him in the mid 80's.
I partnered up with my good friend Tom... and Sidney and I made a deal.
We had it shipped out to California.
Now we’re cleaning it up so I can smoke the tires at Eagle Field in May... Cackle fest it and just generally have a good time!

I am honored to be taking care of such a historic car.

Anyone remember the article Pat did in Hot Rod on it?

My dad took this pic at Fremont when we were there in ‘85. He beat Chrisman’s Hustler! That’s Pat standing there with his Floyd Lippencott III t shirt on. E165855D-C559-4560-836E-9FCADE65F443.jpeg

The wheels needed to be polished.

Sam, I totally agree it couldn't have gone to a better home. I'm really looking forward to seeing (and hearing!) it again.
Sidney obviously kept it in perfect original condition all this time.
    Have fun...but...be safe!

  29. Congrats! Did Sidney run it at all? Does it need much before you take it to Eagle Field?
